Charming barn vibes meet timeless beauty
Y'all, I had the privilege of shooting my first full wedding day at the Brownstone, located in Topeka, Kansas... and holy cow, it was gorgeous!
The Brownstone is a unique spot for many reasons, one of the most notable includes having many go-to photo spots. While wandering the property before the day begun, I was blown away by all the sweet details! The chandelier, winding spiral staircase, delicately decorated rooms, and the cutie vintage truck were some of my favorites from this venue.
Highlights
- Since this wedding was shot in the summer, I LOVED the beautiful, lush green colors.
- The overall vibe and style is gorgeous - it has all the qualities of a charming barn with the poise and elegance of an upscale venue. Each room has large windows (great for pictures and doing makeup/hair) with beautiful details.
- Multiple levels - feels almost like a castle
- Spiral staircase that leads to an upper level where you can see the reception area!
- I was drawn particularly to the front doors & taking pictures beside the windows to get all the warm, natural light while still being indoors
