Hi there! First off, thank you for considering me to document your special day. Weddings are beautiful, and part of that beauty is that there are no do-overs! Each moment, touch, laugh, and tear-filled speech tells the larger story of your wedding. Not only do I strive to document each of these moments well, I strive to be someone you feel truly comfortable around.
One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is the opportunity to connect and serve with those I'm around. Whether you're nervous before your first look, trying to get your hair just right, or need a good laugh, I'll be there - calm, present, and ready to document all of it.

your wedding experience
Step 1 - Inquiring
The first step in booking is inquiring! You can fill out the contact form linked on the contact page, or email me directly at heyemilymaephoto@gmail.com! From there, I will respond in 24-48 hours to schedule a call or in person meeting to discuss all the fun details.
Step 2 - Tying the knot
After we meet & you decide to book, I will send a contract to you and your partner! Once signed and the 20% retainer is payed to save your date, we are LOCKED IN! From here, we will schedule an engagement session (this is included in all my wedding packages!) so we can get even more comfy & familiar with one another. To help with organization & planning, I will also create and send a shared document with all the fun details. 
Then, we set a countdown till the big day!!
Step 3 - Smooth Sailin'
To ensure I am providing the best, most care-free experience for your day, we will work together on crafting a timeline, detailed shot list, and swapping inspiration! I will send a detailed questionnaire to you and your partner to ensure I am providing the best experience possible. I truly love planning, so leave the heavy lifting to me!
Step 4- Home Stretch
Around 1 week before your big day, we will have a 20-30 minute meeting to discuss timeline, the flow of the day, moments you would like to focus on, and anything you'd like me to know!
